Abstract
here has been many difficulties to store and transfer images and other data of patients. Because the amount of X-ray films and other data is so much and increasing day after day. Optical store would function similarly to a facility¢¥s film library, with the added benefits of reduced stored space, faster access time, and no loss of films. The entire imaging system could coexist on the network with the facility¢¥s hospital information system, allowing; a complete integration of patient images, patient data records, and administrative functions.
